You'll be there the day before the long distance qual...
Or you could quit ;)
Could you take a week of unpaid leave in July to go there for a training camp? In that case, going over on the 12th wouldn't be the worst thing.
Negative. During the 45 days after the quarter end is the crunch time. People work even if they are sick. That's just how it is.
But you are going to WOC right?
I think it was 8 years ago now I wrote on my log that you were the most talented young orienteer in North America. You then proved me right by betting on yourself at GLOF in 2003 and taking home some Canadian cash but then you went and got injured and got a job and stuff and were able to 'try out' for the team. Well I'm hoping you finally have the time to do WOC this year....(and if you do also find the time to train just a wee bit more). ;-)
Congratulations!
I agree about the talent thing. Although in Z-man's case it might nearly be counter-productive, as he is naturally a speedy orienteer and when you run really fast in the woods without building up the strength first, things can happen.
Anyway, big congrats on making the team, and thanks for not bitching about number 5 today...
Looking forward to seeing you race at WOC!
Congrats on making the team (again!)! You absolytely have to go to WOC this year!
Yes, congratulations! It is time. Actually, past time, for you to go to WOC. We've been waiting on this forever!
Thanks guys. Yes, I am going to WOC. Only wish I had a bit more time and didn't have to show up the day before the first qualification race. But it is what it is and I will be prepared. My form is starting to return to me slowly, and I have enough time to get a bit more speedy :)
Just do things carefully. Get speedier, but steadily.
congrats. and good luck.. in preparation - and at WOC
Yes, very glad you can go this time!
Yes, I am very excited to watch you race at WOC and really happy that you are finally going!!!
