map detail - note the white is actually rough open since the island is treeless.

The island population of under 200 was more than welcoming to the 300+ orienteers for one of the most memorable weekends around... 40 minutes from the mainland, no police, two pubs, one (palm) tree, a few sheep and cows, great terrain, what more could one ask for...

about as good as could be expected given I spent a month without running at all in March. 5 seconds off 3rd in the "middle/spint" all the same ,6th in the classic. I didn't have strength or power in the legs, and in the Classic made a couple of mistakes. I'll write them up soon I presume. Andrew Quin and Niamh O'Boyle won both races.
Meanwhile Toni O'D came 23rd in the WC Middle, and got a point in the sprint too. Bill Edwards was 48th in the WC Long despite an injury.
