I was wondering if that was a missspellled motto: for "quit guilt" for ice sunday get-togethers that could get out of control.

I didn't know you were a quilter - I am too. Though I haven't had a lot of time for it lately, so sometimes Stina thinks I really am just a fabric collector. I have a pretty big stash. :)

I'm less-often a quilter than I was, say, 12 years ago before the advent of discussion groups and other things computer.

Belonging to the guild gives me a push sometimes, and sometimes inspiration. And I usually participate in the BOM (though I've won several sets of blocks that aren't yet made into quilts).

There are several other quilter orienteers I know, most notably peggyd

And vmeyer. MJChilds has also quilted, and maprunner enjoys sewing.

Stash building might be the best part of quilting. ;-)

Coin collectors don't use their coins, stamp collectors don't use their stamps, why should fabric collectors use their fabric ?: )

I like the way you all think. :-) ("it's SOOOOO pretty! I'll use it some day...")

I have to agree! I used to make "I spy" quilts for friends who had babies, and then too many friends had babies all at once and I got behind. But I still pick up cool fabric for the "I spy" quilts....
