...and was a little surprised to see you reappear at 14, thought you'd be long gone! Bit more time in that sort of terrain and those bigger errors will disappear fast.

Something about running in running gear (as opposed to O gear) made it feel like I was actually racing, maybe I should wear a vest more often! Open hill is definatly my best terrain but, as with every kind, I'm far too proficient at loosing map contact and making big mistakes. Think I was running faster here after 5 days of O than I was on Slieve Croob after only 2 days, but then again I made more mistakes this time out. Just need to replicate the moving feeling I got here every time I O!
14 was purely dodgy compass/not making the map fit the ground correctly - odd as I'm normally so good at that when I'm in the wrong place!
Hopefully I'll be able to get more time map-in-hand soon!
