I just registered for the SML US Champs, and I ran into an issue that I've bumped into before. At some point in the process there was a link to a waiver that I could print out, but while going through checkout I navigated away from that page, and now there doesn't appear to be any way to get back to it. When I received my confirmation email, I was hoping that it would have a link to the waiver, but it does not as far as I can see (unless there's another confirmation email from the registrar yet to come -- this one was from Google Checkout). I've had a similar issue when registering for other meets, when I wound up with a printable waiver in my browser but didn't have access to a printer just then, and I had to restart my browser before I had a chance to print it out, and when I restarted the browser, the page was no longer valid. In the long run, the problem solves itself, because if I show up at the meet without a signed waiver, the registrar will have one for me to fill out, but that does mean extra time and work for the registrar. So I'd like to request that confirmation emails include a link to a page that will allow me to print the waiver. (Or for somebody to explain to me that I'm missing the obvious way to get to an appropriate waiver page.)

Our system is set up that if you haven't clicked OK to the waiver, you won't get anywhere meaningful. We accept online-clicked waivers in lieu of printed ones. It is a general belief in the running community that agreed-online waivers are equivalent to printed ones (i.e. are just as useless in court). With this, I wonder how much longer the orienteering community will insist on flat dead trees for waivers.

(The obvious gaping chasm that you can't agree someone else to a waiver is meaningfully addressed in our system.)
