Hope you didn't cycle over any lawns or impassable kerbs or anything out of bounds.
It's difficult to see from the maps wether people just put a foot on the grass or ran directly across the olive lawns. I hope it's not just a foot ... that would stink.

yep i dont really have any idea whats going on but it seems v messy! so crap when races come down to stuff like that instead of who picked the best routes. normally if theres little bits of grass OOB just for the race they put tapes round it, even have officials there to make sure you dont go on it. hope they werent trying to catch people out with it!

Another national stereotype confirmed - I heard from Alastair that the spectator races (excellent orienteering he said) had 8 loos for 3000 people

And it distracts from a solid set of GB qualifications and a realistic prospect of top 10's. I should be working ......

lol, i'm watching the swedish coverage to feel better about it.

oh nooo then they havent learnt from when we went to the French 6 days some years ago, where they had about the same loo/runner ratio and had to keep announcing over the commentary to 'please stop shitting everywhere' :-S
