Cuivre River! sends a shiver. Was there for the USOC October 18-19, 1980. Went to the not-so-well-organized map collection and found the maps right away! Can't say it's as if it were just yesterday but can still recall a few of the routes, the memorable ones, usually the ones poorly done.

Wonderful thing selective memory.
Funny thing is I had a moment of nostalgia the other and went to my map archive (waterproof box) and without aid of any system, immediately pulled out the maps for the 1980 Oceania Champs (Canberra ACT).
