Discussion: 2.5 year anniversary of USOF ED

Oct 15, 2011 is the 2.5 year mark of the USOF paid ED effort. Here's the thread from the 2 year mark. Just 6 months left on the original funding proposal. The budget discussion at this weekend's BOD meeting will be interesting. Please read up on the proposed 2012 budget ahead of the meeting, and attend (or dial in) if at all possible. Or contact your favorite BOD reps and let them know how you stand on things.

Well, even if I'm not your favorite BOD rep, as the USOF Board member with the title "VP, Club Services" I am particularly interested in hearing from any club presidents who have the time to look at the proposed 2012 budget and then wish to comment about budget items related to club functions and services.

I will just point out that it's nice to see reports from the Board members on their areas of responsibility, and nice to see them all in one place. Some seem to be doing well, a couple are pretty weak. But even the latter is better than no report at all.

Greg, I'm wondering what you think of the revenue assumptions in the 2012 budget. Attainable? Are there enough signs of progress to justify the assumptions? Are people ready to do the work to make them happen?

Peter - I'm still trying to figure out the answers to your questions too, and I don't feel I have enough information yet to come to a conclusion.
