I am getting the same light. What are you using to hold the battery pack?

Yup, charged overnight!

See the 'Lingerie' comment thread from my log- Brendan found the perfect little waist strap with pocket thing, it's linked from there to US Amazon, unsure if Sweden has Amazon, but maybe can find the same thing somehow! Night-o times ahead, something tells me you might just the most use of yours =)

Excellent, and very nice that everything arrived in time. The St. Louis night-o scene is in for a reawakening.

Does the battery for the new light fit in the back pocket of the Trimtex pants? That has been working okay for me with my current light.

Someone needs to make a sports bra with a battery-sized "lip balm" pocket in the back of it!

Not a sportsbra but still working OK.

But I don't want to have an *extra* layer. I already have to wear a sports bra (and pants) so either of those seem like a fine option.

Hm, that could work - as long as I'm wearing the trimtex pants. :) I should sew a special pocket in my pants :)

Yeah, I wore tights to a night-o, no pocket, so I ended up wrapping the battery case around the back headband strap. It worked, but it was pretty awkward.

Couldn't you stick it in your sports bra?

The cord is probably on the short side for the pants pocket, but you wee people might get away with it.

It appears that people do make sports bras with pockets. See, for example. Or this one.

Oh jeez, that second one is atrocious!

Does the battery really not weigh down pants so they end up riding lower and lower throughout race? That'd be my fear, but guess I haven't tried!

Why not use a bike shirt with pockets in the back?

The battery/jersey bounces too much while running. It's also about as far as the pants pocket, so you need the extra long cable anyway.

Regarding sports bras, surprisingly the battery fits in both the front and the back (just tried it). The back does not seem secure enough. The front seems secure, it would just need to be tested for comfort. I'll give it a try. But those special sports bras would actually probably solve any comfort concerns, as long as you could wrap the cable to the back.

Regarding the pants pocket, I haven't had any issues with the pants being weighed down. Don't even notice the battery's there once I start running.

The best thing probably would be to actually have a separate battery back harness, but that's cheating. ;-)

Strap worked well last night, really didn't mind it at all, slight chaffing, might have to think about some better plan if I were doing a rogaine say, but for night-o, totally good!

Tried the battery in the front of the sports bra tonight. It works and the battery is stable but it is a bit distractingly uncomfortable after a little while. YMMV!
