This was just posted on the ski-o world facebook page, from Markku Vaukhonen:
"We are in, not in the official programme, but Ski Orienteering will be present one form or other. It is likely to be World Cup event at the Olympic Cross-Country/Biathlon Stadium 1-2 weeks before the formal opening. We will likely emulate Olympics by sprint qualification/finals + Mixed Sprint relay with live TV, GPS tracking, quarantine and all the bells and whistles - just as we would do in real games. Sochi 2014 - here we come.
(Subject to approval by Russian FSB investigation and few other small issues still to be sorted out...)"
