Discussion: Is the shark gone?

I hope so...

A better question would be "Are ALL the sharks gone?"

Of course not. That's the silly thing. And the sharks have always been there. It's an ocean, afterall. But the government are now spending millions of dollars to look for them so they get spotted quite regularly. That's my theory anyway. I'll still swim without worry as long the beach patrol let me.
