Why does my horizontal scroll bar (in OCAD9) keep disappearing? Have never had this happen until the last two map files I've been working on. The bar is actually still there because I can right-click at the very bottom of the screen and select scroll left or scroll right, upon which it scrolls a very small distance. It will also jump a page, or 'scroll to here' (ie where the cursor is), but I can't get the normal bar that you can drag or left-click in. It's becoming very annoying.
The vertical one works normally. I actually tried a number of things to see if I could get it to vanish like the horizontal one, but it wouldn't.
Have you done a restart since working on those two files or do you just put your computer to sleep each night like me? Lots of funny things crop up that are cleared by a restart.
I've had that happen several times in OCAD9. Whatever bug it really is, it seems to correlate with me having too many other windows open. Closing and opening OCAD does seem to make it go away but it is disconcerting. Save a lot.
Did you Ask Juffy? I hear he's good with computers and stuff.
Did you ask the vendor? I hear that could help sometimes too :)
Which operating system are you using? Have you done all your updates?
I get the same thing in OCAD10, vertical bar too sometimes (I think). I think its to do with misresizing the window on redraw (did I really say that?). You can still scroll around with the select tool, but its annoying so I normally end up restarting.
