Sweden held selection races this weekend, but in the end it got too tough for Goran and Marita, and they just ended up picking a whole bunch of IKHP runners to the Swedish WOC team. This actually works out pretty well for the SOFT treasury, since IKHP runs in the Swedish colors already, thus saving the expense of outfitting the Swedish team in new uniforms for the WOC.
They have promised that if the results show this system of picking works just as well as the more traditional selection methods, they will consider using some other Swedish club for the Denmark WOC, perhaps even a club from Skane or Blekinge.
