Tundra/Desert:
I am looking for full-length pants that would be appropriate for our winter conditions, meaning 0 °C–10 °C, usually wind, often fog, sometimes driving rain, often exposed terrain. These are for trail running, not for through-the-woods running, so resistance against vegetation is not a concern. Wind resistance is strongly desired, water resistance is perhaps secondary. At the same time I don't want the clammy feeling that sometimes comes with certain kinds of fabric when it's wet and it's windy.

I have the Trimtex pants that came with the 2010 and 2011 Team uniforms, and these would be almost certainly not exactly appropriate for moving at a moderate clip for 3–7 hours; looking for something lighter but at the same time with perhaps more wind protection. Can someone who is familiar with the Trimtex line give recommendations (my Norwegian is a bit rusty), or perhaps suggest another line?
