Note:
3 serious Out of Bounds Issues.
6-7 The only legal route appears to be to take the off ramp down Garden Point Road 200m SE and return under the motorway.
8-9 An uncrossable fence and Out of Bounds marked on the map appear to deny access to the grass area marked on the map up past 16 to 9. Only trouble was, the grassed area in reality was paved and the fence wasn't built across the entrance to it.
9-10, 13-14, 16-17. The best route on all of these legs passed through the northern edge of the fenced off area with 9 and 16. The locked gate in that uncrossable fence and the Out of Bounds area marked to the north were not in fact Out of Bounds and were added as a map correction. Except not on my pre-entry printed map.
Overall this course at 5.5km was too long for a lunchtime event. 3 to 4km would be more than enough and would have avoided really silly legs like 6 to 7 and 7 to 8.
