Hey Greg, I am not sure if you thought about charging your Polar GPS on a go during the rogaines I just did it at Laurentian Rogaine and it worked great - I was able to collect data for all 24 hours. I used emergency phone charger (Wallmart~$10-15) based on cr123 battery (small and light). added juice to the GPS sensor 3 times at water stops (~2-3 minutes each) and that did a trick!)
