Any rumblings about clubs interested in hosting NAOC 2016 yet?

It's a giant task. Can a couple of clubs pair up to do it?

If it is a "giant task", is it possible to have both nations help each other with the running of the event? Of course, there are things that the host nation will have to do but if there is assistance from the other nation for the days of the actual event, this would make things easier on each side of the boarder. Working across "club lines" is often difficult so working across national boarders might be harder. Who knows, eventually, there might be a "North American WOC" (in the distant future). Presently, such a large scale event seems impossible but it may that ultimately the "continent" can produce one. The WOC 93 cause very real stress and people aren't eager to repeat it. At the same time, somewhere at a time far far away, it might happen.

Perhaps I should qualify my comment before I go scaring people away from hosting it :(

Putting on an NAOCs to the caliber and size that DVOA did last year and Ottawa will be doing this year coming with NAOC2014 is a giant task beyond what most clubs can do on their own.

That's not to say that clubs can't or even shouldn't put on a smaller North American Championships. Alternatively if we want to keep growing the NAOCs to get the publicity and interest that comes with it we should consider partnerships to make it happen.
Next year's event is in fact organized by a club - town partnership. Without it we wouldn't be able to create an event anywhere near the size that NAOC2014 will be.

Is there an answer to this yet?

Last I heard the IOF had rejected the proposal of hosting it on the same terrain as US Champs 2015.
