Very impressed with the few K-W ARK Attackers that were at the Xcel Camp this weekend in the DV. They were good runners, very pleasant and full of smiles and kicked ass with their nav.
Patrick tells me that it must be their awesome coaching. :-)
It was pretty cool to see two dozen very enthusiastic kids orienteering so well this weekend. Those numbers are a direct result of our great coaches, Patrick's leadership and the support of Orienteering Ontario. If this camp was hosted 3 years ago there would have only been a handful of kids that could have navigated that well. With some of the kids like Milla already kicking ass in the odd AR I think it is fair to see that we are training the next generation of adventure runners, adventure racers and orienteers quite well. Thanks again for your time.
