There is a largish contingent of Junior athletes and coaches who will be attempting to travel to Arizona tomorrow. We anticipate significant problems with flights from multiple airports.

If you live near any of the following, and may be willing to house a stranded junior, a simply give them a call to check they're doing okay, please let us know!

If you live near Newark, is there any chance I could crash at your place tonight? I would be arriving late.

The airports are: OAK, PHL, EWR, DFW, ATL, MSP

Thanks!

Hi Becks! Nice advance planning...particularly for those airports in the south and exposed to winter storm Pax. If you get rerouted through ORD or MDW, we're only an elevated train ride from either. And my wife and I would be happy to provide futons, blankets and floor space.

If anyone gets rerouted through Denver please let us know and we would be happy to help out. Amy Winston and John Crowther.

For Atl we should be iced in till probably Thursday afternoon but after that I assume enough ice will of melted so that we could pick someone up from the airport if needed Thursday evening

This is really helpful everyone, thank you so much to those who've posted here and who've e mailed me personally! I'm getting stressed out about airport hassles and it's good to know we have people who can look out for Juniors in similar situations.

Many of the juniors are flying into Phoenix. But if flights get cancelled or missed, don't forget to look for reroute options that would take you directly to Tucson instead. There is regularly scheduled ground shuttle service between TUS and Phoenix if needed.
