As some of you know, West Point set up a Maze-O as a fundraiser for the junior team, and as a request I'm posting a few of the results. The cadets also made a video using some quadcopter drones with GoPros of a bunch of juniors doing a mass start, but I have no idea where to find that footage.

In any case, by request of PG, here are a few of the times. Courses went USMA, and the times for each course follow the same order:

On their first runs, Peter Gagarin and Alex Jospe had a bit of a competition.
Peter Gagarin: 1:22, 1:02, 0:51, 0:54
Alex Jospe: 1:23, 1:14, 0:48, 0:58
PG also totaled the times, Peter with 4:09 while Alex is up at 4:23.

They re-ran courses U and S head-to-head (one did U, the other S, then they switched), with much improved times (U, S).
Peter Gagarin: 0:52, 0:56
Alex Jospe: 0:59, 0:56
Peter still takes the overall victory, but Alex managed to redeem herself a bit by matching him on Course S.

More importantly, the fastest times for each course (first-runs only) were:

Course U: Ethan (Barefoot category) - 0:51
Course S: Ethan (Barefoot category) - 0:42
Course M: Ethan (Barefoot category) - 0:38
Course A: Andreas - 0:37 [Ethan (Barefoot category) - 0:38]

I believe Andreas was also in the barefoot category, though maybe he put on shoes for the winning run?

Think how fast Alex and I could have gone unencumbered by shoes....

Thanks for organizing it. It really was fun to try and do fast, and having spectators just added a bit of stress.

ever notice in these things how the person keeping (or totaling), the score usually wins
