Not sure I could have got my feet out of my pedals quick enough!

Hope no damage to you or (more importantly!) your bike!

Visit to bike shop this afternoon still hasn't solved my bike issues. Back tomorrow - want to know if there's a problem with my wheel or if it's just the inner tube/valve that's at fault before I ride it. Plus I need to adjust the saddle - last time I rode it, I was getting numb feet - I've only rode it half a dozen times since I got it last year and still not quite got it set up right.

My feet aren't clipped in (just the cage/strap type) so easier to get out of. Bike seems ok just a few scrapes!

Did they sort the problem today? We'll have to go for a ride when you've got it fixed.

It's an "intermittent" valve problem on the inner tube which is highlighted by my particular track pump apparently, so just got to change the inner tube. I'll do it during the week. Then got to adjust the saddle a bit so I don't get numb feet after a couple of hours like I did a couple of weeks ago.

Hoping to get out next Sunday if legs co-operate after Fairfield on Sat. Almost certainly will have a ride over bank hol weekend - probably will cycle to H'gate for urban if there's somewhere safe to lock/leave bike there.

Was that the bend just before the speed bumps start?

It was the left handed bend, then there is a right handed one before the speed bumps.
