Discussion: WOC/ July 7/ Looking for a ride from Venice or Verona to Lavarone

All,

I am trying to get from Venice Airport or Verona train station to WOC hq in Lavarone. My problem is that I don't get in until Monday around noon (Venice) and WOC has already started.

Can I possibly catch a ride with someone or do you have suggestions how to get from Venice or Lavarone? I have come up with trains and/or car services. Waiting on a response from the organizing committee...or for them to post on the event site.

All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

I think most people going from Venice to Lavarone will be leaving Saturday night or Sunday. On Monday it might be easier to get directly to the Sprint Relay venue in Trento and then catch a ride (or take the WOC bus) back to Lavarone afterwards.

Ken. Thanks. I know I'm getting in late. Will look at Trento option. I can take a train there. Waiting to hear from organizing committee as well. They are supposed to be posting info. Haven't seen anything yet.

There are also public buses from Trento up to the various mountain towns.
