Carlisle Steve:
I did the Guelph Duathlon this past weekend (2-40-10) in 2:22 so I expect my time in the BPMR to be 4:44 (double the distance double the time)...sound about right?

Haha...used it as a warmup. Run/rode enough trails to know my time won't be that good!

Hey Steve, typically winning times are between 6-7 hours. we've got a section of technical single track and some good climbs on the bike rides, and the trail run is...well, its bruce trail. some of the most rugged terrain around.

Steve, as a hopefully helpful suggestion I'm going to say, based on your posted result in the duo, 9-10 hours for the full long course. the paddle stage alone will take you 2+hrs unless you are a strong paddler. disclaimer: absolutely no guarantee - you need to figure it out.
