Gllen Schorr:
All, the IOF is working to have English language TV transmission of WOC. They have employed the same "play by play" man as last year. However they are still looking for an additional person to do expert commentary and the occasional interview. Would have to be available for all finals. If you are interested reply to this post or email me at gjs@orienteeringusa.org. Can be multiple people and split the duty among races.

I'd potentially be up for it, at least some of the time.

Blair...you came to mind. Contact Anna at IOF. We need coverage for all finals so others can do as well.

Will we be able to watch online for free?

Biddy - I do not know. I would watch for an announcement from the IOF.

What about broadcast TV in the US like last year? I'd go find another sports bar to watch (though hopefully not by myself like last year).

I sent a message to the Facebook site of Universal Sports Network, who broadcast it last year. The answer was non-committal, and their website only shows two days ahead.

I'll just stick with SVT/YLE as usual, hopefully they'll cover enough. Would it not be nice to just get their coverage translated.

Per Frost did a good job at last winter's ski O' in Russia. Maybe he's available.

All, thanks for your suggestions. I have let the IOF know about this thread. Have a good weekend.
