We're back with an encore, this time the first-ever Corn Maze World Ranking Event (CMWRE), sanctioned by the ICMOF (slogan -- "We really are at one with nature").

Start time is 5 pm, Wednesday, August 29. Location is the world famous Mike's Maze in Sunderland, MA, site of the recent classic, sprint, and relay USA Corn Maze Champs. The corn is still lush, the terrain is still devious.

Entries -- e-mail to pg@crocker.com, deadline is Tuesday, August 26.

Party -- will take place at the maze, before, during, and after the event.

Course(s) -- 2 different courses, a classic and short classic, with the theme for the day being "dead ends."

E-punching -- yup, you punch your Garmin at each control,

Controls -- of course, though they may look suspiciously like streamers.

Entry limit -- 10, first-come, first-served, but subject to CMOUSA approval and those with CMWRE ranking get priority.
