Hybrid event: Trail Race, Rogaine, Adventure Race, Orienteering Courses Using 1:10000 Orienteering Map of Otter Creek Park.
2016 proved a good time with a very challenging and unique format. We had problems with results in the complicated scoring format but that will be helped by All E-Controls in 2017. Changes that will take place in 2017 are as follows: ***6 and 12 hour courses. ***All E-Controls and instant results ***$500 Prize goes to the first person or team to clear the 12 hour course. ***5 stages in the 12 hour option. ***Return of the Slide! ***Boat over to the East side if the water is high (and it normally is) ***Recreational Rogaine along with recreational Pink or Trail Race, Long Orange, Ultra Long Green and Long Blue courses using IOF standard courses. *** Masters Division(50 and over).
The Mandatory Trail Race has been changed to an optional Stage. Now, regardless of if you are signed up for the 6 or 12 hour version you can head right for the Long Orange course which is mandatory. More details on the Website. If you try to clear the course and go for it all. You must go in Course order O,G,B and then Rogaine. All within 12 hours
