Treadmill hills (Combo flat run/hill walk) 1:00:35  4.65 mi (13:02 / mi)
I did the run portion outside. It had been raining and there was a few dry hours before it is going to start again. We’ve had 4 inches today and it will rain for most of the week. It was incredibly humid but that will soon be the norm. With the hill portion after the running portion is always tougher and my time was a bit slower.
Hoping everything is still going well. We’re just moving along as usual. My husband was looking at an emountain bike. It weighs about 50 pounds and was fun but I don’t think I’ll ride it. It was more my size than his. And after I reminded him he is 63 and maybe starting to need an assist, he decided he didn’t want it.
Trail Run long (Long hilly run) 2:02:00  9.5 mi (12:51 / mi)
This was on a very hilly technical trail. There were over 500 riders on the main trail. I saw less than 50 riders on these loops. 2 of those crashed in front of me. Portions were super rocky. At first I had a great deal of right knee pain on the downhills but it was fine on the uphills so I ran the uphills the best I could. Eventually the knee pain went away so I could run downhills. The entire time I ended up braking on the steep parts. I never felt comfortable. The last 1.5 miles are basically uphill. I pushed very hard. This was most runnable sections and it went pretty well.

This was a much better run than yesterday. I pushed a bit harder than I planned. I know you said that bad runs are still good training. That may be true but they mess w my mind so this was felt good. Strides were good.

Still getting stronger. This was probably my best swim in 20 years.

This was a horrible run. It was hot but more than that I was tired. I kept focusing on my posture which helped a small bit. I also kept pushing but very little of it felt good.
Treadmill tempo (Progression) 1:00:00  5.4 mi (11:07 / mi)
This went pretty well. I had two days rest which helped. I started slow and as I felt more warmed up, I progressed faster.
Yesterday I had a bad case of vertigo. I had to spend 3 hrs lying still w my eyes closed before I could move wo getting sick. I’ve also had a few cases of flicker vertigo in the past month. All of that leads me to believe I’m developing ear issues. I know you’ve had issues for a number of years, hopefully mine doesn’t progress to be as bad as yours.
