Knees REALLY not happy -descending? so tried to make a positive out of a rainy day by staying in

orienteering 1:37:38 [3] 8.5 km (11:29 / km)

Ran at Kenfig which is not going to be part of the JK in the early evening. Navigation not too bad but pace very slow -mostly seemed to be stopped looking at the map -really need to get to some events

Thursday May 6 #

off road 2:15:00 [3] 11.5 mi (11:44 / mi)

Ran with Chris and Helen on what turned out to be a truly beautiful day in the Quantocks which were looking at their best in the Spring sunshine. Started from Dead Woman' Ditch which must be pretty much at the top and centre, so could have anticipated a flatter ridge run.....? well not quite we went went West and did three pretty near full ascents of the ridge, two on the north side and one on the south......so pretty knackered by the end, when Chis was out of sight taking in an extra trig point......coffee and cake afterwards....all in all a return to normality??

Cold Ashton loop - a really good day for running and pretty much ran quickly from the start , was a bit tired in the last 1/3 (uphill!) any way could not have gone faster today so that's pleasing

Begbrook, Frenchay loop, Olbury Court, Eastville and Purdown. Still quite a strong wind but dry and out of the wind not cold
