These new shoes are definitely wonderfully light and nimble. Make me want to push myself a bit to hard. Apparently excellent for consistent cadence, too, and it felt like a slow cadence, but it was only a hair under optimal. Glad to get out earlyish, as it was still cooler than it is becoming.

A bit of chafing from the heat + water from my dripping visor (creek crossings are nice that way). Need to remember to lube now that the warm is here.
