Thursday Apr 25 #

2 PM

Run 43:20 [3] 5.28 km (8:12 / km)

Street O at Waterford Park. It was pretty flat and took me sometime to get going, but l jogged the whole way and was back on time.
4 PM

Labouring 1:00:00 [3]

Claiming an hour of heavy digging wet earth in the back yard.

Wednesday Apr 24 #

Walk 1:13:00 [3] 6.52 km (11:12 / km)

Street O in Camberwell. I left it too late to return to the finish and was 7 minutes late. I got caught up in building works in a park in the middle of the map, and took some time to find a way around, and then BOTH shoe laces came undone. My back has started hurting again.

Monday Apr 22 #

7 PM

Walk 1:00:00 [3] 5.5 km (10:55 / km)

Woke after a good sleep and all the aches and pains of the past few days were gone. Travelled to Melb where l am spending most of the week and went to Street O at Ringwood, my old stamping ground. Lovely night for it and a nice BBQ afterwards.

Saturday Apr 20 #

9 AM

Stretching/exercises 45:00 [3]

Achieve It Flexit session conducted by Julie. A good session but my back and legs were very tight from Friday’s session.
1 PM

Orienteering 2:14:00 [3] 7.0 km (19:09 / km)

Bendigo bush orienteering at One Tree Hill course 2. My back and legs were still tight from Friday’s session and l basically walked the whole way. l also misread the contours and failed to notice some flatter routes (including road routes) and made some dreadful route choices, giving me many more hills than desirable. Then l missed one control and had to go back. Back and bung knee were not happy on the steep rocky ground. Last in course 2.
3 PM

Orienteering 45:00 [3] 3.0 km (15:00 / km)

Collected 5 controls after the event. Enjoyed the day and the course - just wish l was a bit fitter.
Nigel and Debbie’s garden setting was a lovely place to start - and l appreciated the personal garden tour and the gift of a box of jonquill bulbs afterwards.
