Fracture. To be precise: subtle fracture of the dorsal surface of the distal radius, without displacement, just proximal to the radiocarpal joint. seeing a hand person as soon as I can get an appointment. Until then, just the splint.

Walking in hiking boots. A little (or more) nervous about falling, so even walked slowly. took routes to avoid rocky scrambles .... until 10 when it was unavoidable. much better than sitting in the car or hanging out in a field for hours!

Time is approximate as I forgot to stop my watch. Fractured my wrist somewhere around 3. Painful and realized quickly that I couldn't run. Wasn't perfect before then either, as I misread the position of the start, and headed off wrong.. did catch it fairly quickly. Then just really slow and cautious as I got familiar with the map. Was just getting confident when I fell and hurt the wrist. Sigh. Would write more but too slow with my left hand .
UPDATE fractured wrist.
