There was a chase start for people who competed on Red throughout the previous 4 days of the series. This was held on the Rattlesnake Hill map at about 8,000ft. east of Laramie, WY. 300m of climb was listed on this physical and less technical course. Routes often crossed deep marsh, were along streams or over sagebrush.
