L Arm, Other

2011-07-14 – 2011-07-28

Grade: 2

Left elbow caught in a jiujitsu hold. Very painful, especially in the mornings. Could not turn arm outward or straighten arm. Dr. Champagne at first thought it was broken but now believes it was just a pulled ligament. Wore a sling off and on for two weeks.

Came back to class two weeks later. More or less recovered, though caution should be exercised when doing pins especially sankyo and nikkyo, as well as jujinage, because there is still lingering pain.
