Something popped in my left hip and I couldn't put weight on that leg. After a while, I could walk with a limp. Later discovered I could do most stretches, and the hip didn't really hurt unless I took a long stride or walked on stairs.
Saw Dr. Haber on Aug 29; he thinks it's only bursitis, and will heal with some rest and exercise.
Lots of physical therapy brought me back where I can run pretty close to normally. There's still some swelling and limited range of motion in certain directions, but the limiting factor on my running right now is lack of conditioning, not my hip.
