L Knee, Ligament tear

After I ran WDOC long event last Saturday. I felt pretty good with my time. After the event, we all went for sightseeing at Letchworth water falls. Somehow, my knee twisted and felt torn when climb down the stairs. It was so painful and barely walk. Missed the next day event for Chase. &^%$^
Yesterday, went to see Orthopedic. He thinks I have torn cartilage and will may give me cortisone shot after check MRI.
Definited have meniscus torn. Surgery on August 28th.
