Whatever this is I don't like it. It feels and sounds like rice-bubbles in my knees and hurts as I run and upon rest.

I am built in such a way that my knees turn inwards (silly female hips that I have) which is causing tightness in the joining muscles to my patella. Stretching & glute strengthening is the solution.
