R Foot, Ankle Sprain

During S. Chagrin o meet, strong outside twist on control 11/15 (3/4 way through course distance). Managed to run rest of course, while active at finish no problem, iced during drive home, no major problems at home (1 more icing), but in middle of night it was really stiff and sore - kept me up. Iced in AM, ace wrap, and it loosened up some as day progressed. Trying to keep elevated. Will probably miss the 5k race wednesday.
HOWEVER - got much better over following few days, and with a new velcro ankel support, ran 5k at goal pace. One week after injury, it's runnable but still swollen and a bit tender, and I'm going to stick with biking now until it's back to near normal.

PT was only doing a little, (by early-mid sept) but when I pointed this out to them, they did a couple of days of heavy rubbing/massage on where they said that the healing had built up scar tissue, and it made a world of difference.
