R Foot, Plantar Fasciitis

2010-12-30 – 2012-06-11

Grade: 4

I've decided to start recording this.
Began a few months back. Only aggrivated by running. Is ok the longer I move around on it (warm it up). Is HORRIBLE first thing in the morning after a long run. I'll be buying new shoes very shortly as I'm not loving the pair I'm currently using. The model is excellent but this particular pair blows.

JAN 29 - New shoes definitely better. PF still ongoing tho. Aggrivated by anything that engages my calve. Generally bad first thing in the AM. Am not doing much running these days.

June 16 - still ongoing. Have found that ultrasound in conjunction with Interferential Currents (IFC) works best at getting the inflammation under control and reducing pain. Stopped doing this for a while to work on my SI issues and my foot flared up again. Reponse to ultrasound with IFC is very fast and I notice a difference right away.

July 12 - getting better I think. Am able to run without being debilitated the next day.

Sept 6 - PF still sore and foot still tight. Other complications seem to be going away at least.

May 22 - May be healed...

should have gone for treatment right away instead of trying to train and race on it for so long.
