Note
(injured)

so, the friday before my arch problems started, I started a 14-day prescription of levaquin for a possible local infection. I had heard stuff about antibiotics and tendons (maybe on AP), so I asked the doctor "I'm running a lot, anything I should know about the antibiotic?" he says with a laugh, "nope, just don't fall down." surprize...some scary shit on google. I guess it could have been worse, although my wrists were also sore for a while, and I've had minor headaches and ringing in my ears, all of which have been linked to that. I have one dose left for tonight, which I'll definitely skip, and probably take it easy through the weekend.

Running 1:04:24 [2] 7.89 mi (8:10 / mi) +300m 7:18 / mi
shoes: NB 008

found an easy way to run to prospect hill from work (2.4 miles). there's a fair amount of grass on the way there which is always good.

Running hills 20:03 [5] 2.65 mi (7:34 / mi) +350m 5:22 / mi
(injured) shoes: NB 008

5x4min uphill intervals, a mix of road, trail, and terrain, mostly steep. I wanted to avoid the impact that might have hurt my arches last week, but the incline was probably a dumb move, as I could feel the stretch there anyway. I had a hard time running down the hill far enough during the recovery so that I wouldn't be back at the top of the hill before 4mins was up, so I ended up taking more like 4.5min recoveries instead of 3-4.

depending on how my arch feels tomorrow, I might take a few days off or x-training (or maybe mapping!) if it seems like I'm not recovering.

Running 46:54 [2] 6.0 mi (7:49 / mi) +70m 7:33 / mi
slept:7.0 shoes: NB 008

running at lunch with mark. the weather was pretty nice for a change, and my arch felt ok, but not great. I was hoping it would be all good after yesterday's rest. stuck to 6 instead of 8
