XC skiing (skate) 35:00 [3]
(injured)

as expected, the snow was pretty good for skating, except in the more shady spots where it wasn't as solid, and I did faceplants.  10 minutes at the soccer fields, and then drove up to the HS, where there had been snowmobiles all over the place, except on the track. did some laps, and played around on the infield.

XC skiing (classic) 56:38 [3]
slept:7.0

morning skiing at the soccer fields, from 30F warming up to around 40F. yesterday's track got faster, going 3:39~4:00 most of the time. also, the rest of the snow is starting to set up, after another thaw-freeze cycle, tonight, it might be hard enough to skate all over the place. (fun enough for those of us without our own private ski resort)

Stretching 13:00 [1]

arch hurting a little more after a walk with alex.  I don't think walking or standing around is very good for it.

XC skiing (classic) 51:00 [3]
slept:7.0 (injured)

my track at the soccer fields was getting icy, so I made a new one just inside of it. sucked the first time, but after a few it was pretty nice. about 4-4:30 / lap

forgot to mention yesterday that I was feeling out of shape from slacking the last few months.

vacation day today, and snowmobile trails in harvard. the usual connector from right across the street only had footprints so far, I found out why down the trail, where it was totally flooded out. at least it was also frozen over, so I could sort of slide across. may have to skip that part for a while. the rest of it was wide and very solid.

its been about a week since I stopped the aleve, and I'm still feeling ok (not great though). actually today the other foot is a bit tired from the snow running.  probably skiing or biking tomorrow.
