longish ride to and through the bois de boulogne. "changed" bikes three times (first half hour of your velib ride are free, then 1, 2, 4 euros), though I like the one I had first so all I did was return it to some station, wait 2 mins, and then take it out again as soon as the station would let me.

...which was closed (letting people out but not in), so then I just ran more or less randomly around the city with the aim to fill in some more rectangles on my training locations map. this turns out to be pretty fun, and I held a higher pace than expected (more like normal, rather than the sluggish pace of my other recent runs). once I had enough running, it took only a few minutes to find a Velib station for the ride home.
