from Sand Beach back to town the long way. Not a bad route except Gorham mountain was fairly congested and the Beehive was actually a major traffic jam. Nice running after The Bowl up to Champlain summit. Beachcroft path is a huge steep slab and then a million stepping stone switchbacks. That was cool but I was glad to be going down and not up. Didn't carry any water, which was a bit of a stretch, though I got some at the nature center.

Cadillac ridge with Greg. Got dropped off at the south end so we could do a nice one-way run (lots of one-way possibilities as there are free buses all around the island). Very nice trail on the way up, lots of bare rock and good views. Ran into Carol and Kate at the top (they drove), and daddy-o, who had run from the north side. We ran down with him, trail rougher and rockier on this side.
Hiking with Alex. She picked this loop out of the guidebook, and enjoyed it. She likes the wide carriage roads better than foot trails because this way she doesn't have to get too close to nature.

rental bike has annoying grip-shifters, but I have almost figured out which way to twist them.
Ran into Dave and Heidi Onkst at the Precipice trail parking lot, they were just heading out so I went up with them. Cool climb, parts very exposed with iron railings or steps.
