Ward family walk, just as the clouds and wind were gathering. Lucy had spent the afternoon googling the rights of a child to stay home and watch American YouTube nonsense and had prepared papers of divorce from her family and so we let her stay in. Laurence was feeling more up for it though (he is THAT bored) and we set off towards the Seat. Bertie deemed it too windy to summit, so we proceeded into the bog as the rain started lashing. Up the Royal Mile in the horizontal deluge, then a rather quick break for home along George IV and past Teviot. Chips well earned by all of us (well, except Lucy, but she definitely thought she made the right choice judging by how wet we were).
