GN trail and terrain run with the boyz. Leg no problem until 55ish. No sharp pains but dull achy. Post run and it just looks really gross...

This week will be lower mileage (if that’s even possible with how low it already is haha) and quality workouts.

Bayfront open! First 8k in the bag!

Since 8:30pm the night before I was feeling nauseous. Woke up feeling better but not great. Thought it had subsided by the time the race started but yeah nope. Felt okay on the first 2.5k or so but then my stomach knotted up and I got queasy every time I tried to pick up the pace. Managed to finish without spewing chunks and run a fairly decent time so I’m happy with that. I felt fine physically though, lots of energy left at the end so that’s a great feeling for provincials in 2 weeks! Goal there is 5s per k faster.

Nice pre race run to groundhog hill and to Canterbury falls with Anton. Leaves were blowing too fast to catch them but the score was 7-11 for Anton by the end.
A sneaky chestnut covered in leaves was the culprit of a little ankle roll but it should be okay for the race tomorrow! First 8k, this will be fun.

Note
(rest day)

Feeling pretty drained today.

Walked around on the Brock campus map while Anton re-ran an OCUP race from a few years ago, and then a nice hike at Decew Falls!
