Flag pick up after the Icebreaker.
Muddy as heck but a lovely sunny 12C was a much needed mood booster!
Walked between 2 CPs looking for a lost SI and forgot to stop my watch.
Also made my way down this sketchy steep little stream gully and then got 3/4 of the way back up to realize that I’d taken the flag and SI unit but left the stand. Sigh.

Knee wasn’t super happy during this. It hasn’t hurt while running before so I’ll hopefully get to the trainer soon to get it checked out.

Route to Christmas day 1 & 2. Wowza those were both long legs. Picked the fastest route for the map in Norway, so that’s good news before WOC this summer!

Not planned but with the big ole bruise on my foot nothing was really seeming too appealing today. Plus I’m super tired and feeling run down. Chill day instead.

X-League at Chedoke! Almost cleared the course but a dumb planning option early on cost me. I felt great tonight and ran pretty hard. I also stepped on a sharp rock in the arch of my foot, and with Inov8s, that left a bruise. It's pretty sore so I hope I can run on it...
But my lower leg didn't really hurt at all!

Note

The sore throat i've had for 2 weeks might finally be developing into something more. Went to bed with intentions to run in the morning but when I woke up my body was so heavy and my head was pounding. A little extra sleep but i'm still feeling yucky. An evening run might happen but it might not...

Met up with the TNT crew and warmed up with them, then a lil run on my own. It was starting to snow and I got a big flake in my contact and couldn’t see and went over a lil on my ankle. Ice ice ice.

Also not sure if that run made my incoming cold better or worse.
