easy run to watch the olympic torch relay! still half dead from yesterday..

long run on soaked footpaths and overgrown pastures. lots of nettles too. quads in pain, heels in pain and dehydration struck half a way. had intended to run even longer but this felt more than enough for today. not very smart to go for such a long run without drink. just learning things..

easy run along the canal side. quite muddy but not floating anymore.

strength at gym including quads, hamstrings, leg press, lunges, heel raises, abs, backs, sides, and arms. feeling good.

Trail running warm up/down 20:00 [1] 3.0 km (6:40 / km)

Orienteering 1:35:00 [5] 14.5 km (6:33 / km) +300m 5:56 / km

WOC selection race long Grand Jorat. Had a really bad day physically and also made some 3-4min mistakes + lost on some route choices. Only 5th Finn and 21st of all. Not at all happy :(

Trail running warm up/down 30:00 [3] 4.0 km (7:30 / km)

warm up with some drills

Orienteering 42:00 [5] 5.92 km (7:06 / km) +100m 6:33 / km

WOC selection race middle Bois de la Pile. Don't know if I was nervous or if it's just general fatigue after Venla but legs were heavy and running felt awful. Managed to hold orienteering quite well together despite some small mistakes. 3rd Finn and 10th overall!! Not so bad from an outsider :)
