Running race 48:52 [5] 10.0 km (4:53 / km)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2 -Yellow/Oran

Fast and Furriest 10k in Rochester

My goal was 48:00, so I missed that, but conditions were wet and rainy, to the point that you had to dodge puddles on the river path. My stomach wasn't feeling great, and I played softball the night before, so given all of those things, I'm happy with my time.

Note
(rest day)

Rest day with softball game thrown in. I think softball was tougher on me than I expected.

Running 51:12 [3] 4.88 mi (10:29 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia 7 - Green

Medved Trail Run @ Powder Mills Park

Wednesday Jun 6, 2012 #

Note
(rest day)

Still gotta fill in the training for the past couple of days. I have been doing tempo work on Wednesday, but there are two races this coming weekend, so I'm going to take today and Friday off and Thursday easy.

Orienteering race 7:00 [5] 0.5 km (14:00 / km)

Mistake going from 4--->5. Probably should have caught it, but my mindset was that one mistake was going to break me on that course. I ended up walking to 5 and coming in - no sense wasting energy with the red course looming.
1 PM

Orienteering race 1:26:35 [4] 5.9 km (14:41 / km)

Club Series #3 at Rotary Sunshine Camp

Lots of sloppiness, no huge mistakes though.

My o-shoes were really dirty before the meet. They are now wet, but no longer dirty.
