Running 32:00 [3]

Ran on my own since I'm the only mid distance person continuing. (I'm running at ECAC next Wednesday/Thursday (I think only Thursday but not sure) at Westfield State if anyone is bored and wants to come watch and I'll even try not to run a 2:25 again!).

I felt like...really good... it was weird. I was supper springy and I was flying with no effort so I forced myself to slow down so I could at least be outside a little longer. The weather was really nice, it was a bit cold before I started running but it felt good once I started. Also the woods were beautiful! There is just a little bit of green everywhere (and some flowers too which is exciting because I love flowers) but we STILL don't have leaves on our trees. Tomorrow I will probably take off because I have a bio final at night and Wednesday I'll have practice and do a workout alone. lol

Also going to be at school until next Tuesday so I have no clue what I'll do with myself until then since everyone/ everything will be gone. Netflix and all the books I've been meaning to read sound like they might come in handy.

Track Race race 2:13 [5] 0.5 mi (4:26 / mi)

800... I won.
I actually don't know what's wrong with my body all of a sudden but somehow I managed to run a 2:13 (official 2:13.96). Soooo.... I RAN 2:13!!! I thought I would never be able to run a 2:15 ever again but yo I crushed that time, and broke my own school record heh! (Also remember it was 2:15.03 which was like almost 2:14 but not 2:14. Also I ran 2:25 last week, glad that didn't happen again)

We went out pretty slow, like a 67 slow, which got me a bit nervous but I felt really relaxed at that pace. At around 400 I was pretty boxed in but at 450 I had to cut someone off because I had to get around them (sorry girl, but not really). Then it was me and the Rochester girl for the last 200 but at 150/ 175 I just kicked...and I won...by like 2 seconds... still don't know how I did that. Oh also I negative split for the first time ever hehe (67,66).

Let me tell you though, I wasn't hopping around afterwards. I was riding the pain train for quite a while. First I was just really confused like "What did I just do?" and then my coach came over and then my legs stopped working so I fell over onto the turf and then my legs REALLY started hurting (hamstrings). There was a lot of pain and tears (happiness and pain mushed together) for like 5 minutes and the trainer tried to stretch me out and stuff but I was just cramping like heck. AND THEN I was just laying on the ground trying to throw up for another 5 minutes but nothing came out because my stomach was empty. That was really fun. After that I felt alright though lol

Running warm up/down 11:00 [3]

Cool down, by myself. Except I called Will, so only partially by myself.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Warming up for the 4x4. I was still a bit tired since I had and hour and a half between races and I had a headache but I took advil and 2 gu's instead of my usual 1... I felt the caffeine. That fixed me right up lolllll.

Track Race race 1:00 [5] 0.25 mi (4:00 / mi)

4x4, we won by 4 seconds and ran 3:57.2 which is like a 5 second season pr lol Idk how man. I got the baton with Rochester who was our biggest competition, seeded like half a second behind us at 4:02. I stuck with the girl on my leg and dropped a bit behind her at 300 but the last 100 I kicked and handed off right with her. She's like fast too and usually runs a 58 so I was happy.

Track running warm up/down 10:00 [2]

Cool down partially with Molly.

Overall a pretty successful meet. Won all of the events I was in, 2 school records, a crazy pr in the 800 and I won Rookie of the year at the end. I'll take it.

NYSCTC meet (states) @RPI
4x8, I was the third leg. We won by 4 seconds and got a new school record! (not a 8:58 like in high school but 9:17 isn't too bad and we didn't have a 2:03 leg so I'll take it.) I felt good the first 600 but man, I hit the wall hard at 600. I think it has something to do with the fact that I went out in a 62/61 lol. Not going to do that ever again. Still a good time though. It also started raining right as Anna was handing me the baton so that was lovely.

Track running 55 [3] 0.19 mi (4:49 / mi)

2x(300, 200, 100) I got to do the workout with Anna so I wasn't alone for once. We went pretty easy since we both felt a bit eh. I felt pretty good while doing it though. This weekend I'm running the 4x8 (on Friday) and then the 800 and 4x4 (on Saturday). So much racing.
