Mountain bike ride (Trail ride) 55:00 [4]

I kept it at a general medium effort except for the new loop which I tried to hit hard. I’m going to do a second ride later.

Mountain bike ride (Easy ride) 1:00:00 [3]

Second ride of the day. This one with my husband. We did 2 loops of the trail he created. It started as an easy, peaceful ride. During the 2nd loop, I had to stop. It felt like my cleat was slipping. I finally figured out that the sole was almost off on my left shoe. I finished the ride by only clipping in w my right shoe. That’s awkward and it felt like 2 miles of one leg drills.
I had these shoes for over 10 years. I put them away for a long while but dug them out after my last shoes broke. I hunted and found a really old pair of our youngest daughter’s shoes. The looked new but each has a spot where the top crank strap was pulling loose. Hopefully they last until I get another pair. I do have a pair I don’t like.

Trail Run long (Long run) 3:00:00 [4] 13.0 mi (13:51 / mi)

This was a decent run. At the 2 hr mark I hit a rough section of trail and it wore me out. It only lasted 30 minutes but it was tough and I decided to quit at 3 rather than going longer.

Trail Run (Optional) 30:00 [3] 2.5 mi (12:00 / mi)

This should have been a 60 minute run but way too many spiders and snakes to enjoy it. I usually will run w a stick to cut the webs but this is a technical trail and it felt to awkward. After a total of 15 minutes, I dropped onto pavement and finished the run.
6 PM

Trail Run (Fun run) 56:00 [4] 4.9 mi (11:26 / mi)

Much better run than this morning. It’s going to be tough leaving home after work to drive to a trail but I’ll get it down. This is a tough trail but I always love it.

Trail Run (Rolling strides ) 1:00:00 [4] 5.2 mi (11:32 / mi)

Rolling trail run. I needed a light for the bulk of the run which slowed me down. Did the strides after light. They went really well. Probably one of the last morning runs here for a while. Spiders are getting thick.

Treadmill hills (3 set progression ) 54:00 [5] 4.7 mi (11:29 / mi)

I made it to 7%,6%,7% on the 3 sets. This was a change. I usually try to increase each one. This time I started hrs and then did a lesser set and then went all out. Both of the 7% inclines were fails. I had to hang on for most of the time but I didn’t want to give up too soon.
And just an FYI, I didn’t miss this routine at all.
