nominal 3.3 km. Botched 1-2, and did 2-3 poorly. After that it went ok. I don't enjoy it as much when I really can't see the map very well. Not as physically tired in the pm as I was in the am.

(Garmin never did find satellites.) Felt TIRED. I thought I navigated well and moved right along, but a lot of people moved a lot faster.

Shadowing my mom on her white course. She did well. She had to use some problem-solving to get up and down some rocky slopes, and was challenged by shrubberies between the trail and controls, but pulled out the stubborn stop and did it. I think getting thru the course boosted her confidence back up.
